Up/Down Adjustment Procedure

1. Loosen the upper door hinge to hinge pillar bolts.
2. Reposition the door hinge up to raise or down to lower the door.
3. Tighten the upper door hinge bolts. Tighten: Tighten the door hinge to hinge pillar bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb in).
4. Loosen the lower door hinge to hinge pillar bolts.
5. Reposition the door hinge.
6. Tighten the lower door hinge bolts. Tighten: Tighten the door hinge to hinge pillar bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb in).
7. Repeat the procedure for additional adjustment, if necessary.

In/Out Adjustment Procedure

1. Loosen the upper door hinge to door bolts.
2. Reposition the door hinge outward to adjust the door inward or inward to adjust the door outward.
3. Tighten the upper door hinge to door bolts. Tighten: Tighten the door hinge to door bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb in).
4. Loosen the lower door hinge to door bolts.
5. Reposition the door hinge.
6. Tighten the lower door hinge to door bolts. Tighten: Tighten the door hinge to door bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb in).
7. Repeat procedure for additional adjustment, if necessary.

Adjustment Procedure

1. Position the window fully up.
2. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to «Trim Panel Replacement - Door»(ref-187807-S38707060192005090100000) .
3. Remove the water deflector. Refer to «Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door»(ref-187807-S09433743302005090100000) .
4. Loosen the jack screw jam nut (1).
5. Adjust tip in with the jack screw (2). IMPORTANT: One turn of the screw equals approximately 1 mm (0.04 in) change at the top of the window. Turn the jack screw clockwise to tip the window outward. Turn the jack screw counterclockwise to tip the window inward.
6. Tighten the jack screw jam nut (1). Tighten: Tighten the jack screw jam nut to 5 N.m (44 lb in).
7. Raise the window and inspect the alignment. Repeat the procedure as necessary.
8. Install the water deflector. Refer to «Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door»(ref-187807-S09433743302005090100000) .
9. Install the door trim panel. Refer to «Trim Panel Replacement - Door»(ref-187807-S38707060192005090100000) .
10. Close the door.

Window Height Adjustment - Door Minor

1. Open the door and remove the door trim panel. Refer to «Trim Panel Replacement - Door»(ref-187807-S38707060192005090100000) .
2. Lower the window.
3. Adjust the front and rear window regulator up stops equally.
4. Close the door.
5. Raise the window fully and inspect for alignment.
6. Lower the window.
7. Install the door trim panel. Refer to «Trim Panel Replacement - Door»(ref-187807-S38707060192005090100000) .
8. Raise the window.
9. Close the door.

1. Position the window to fully up.
2. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to «Trim Panel Replacement - Door»(ref-187807-S38707060192005090100000) .
3. Remove the water deflector. Refer to «Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door»(ref-187807-S09433743302005090100000) .
4. While sitting in the vehicle, close the door to fully raise the window.
5. Loosen the front (2) and rear (1) window clamp bolts.
6. Open the door to index the window down.
7. To adjust the passenger side door window fore/aft, turn the adjustment screw (1), located in the front access hole.
8. To adjust the driver side door window fore/aft, turn the adjustment screw (1), located in the rear access hole.
9. While sitting in the vehicle, close the door to fully raise the window.
10. Tighten the front (2) and rear (1) window clamp bolts. Tighten: Tighten the window clamp bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
11. Install the water deflector. Refer to «Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door»(ref-187807-S09433743302005090100000) .
12. Install the door trim panel. Refer to «Trim Panel Replacement - Door»(ref-187807-S38707060192005090100000) .
