1. Remove the door striker. Refer to «Striker Replacement - Door»(ref-238183-S28183978072006072400000) .
2. Loosen the door hinge to the body side pillar bolts.
3. Adjust the door at the door hinges in the following directions: Upward or downward Forward or rearward Inward or outward
4. Adjust the gap between the rocker panel and the door to 4.0-8.0 mm (0.16-0.31 in).
5. Adjust the gap between the door and the roof panel to 3.0-9.0 mm (0.12-0.35 in).
6. Adjust the gap between the rear of the door and the rear pillar to 3.0-5.0 mm (0.12-0.20 in).
7. Adjust the gap between the door and the fender to 4.0-6.0 mm (0.16-0.24 in).
8. Adjust the door surfaces so that the door surfaces are flush with the other panels to 1.0 mm (0.04 in).
9. Tighten the hinge bolts. Tighten: Tighten the hinge bolts to 35 N.m (26 lb ft).
10. Install the door striker. Refer to «Striker Replacement - Door»(ref-238183-S28183978072006072400000) .
11. Adjust the door striker, if necessary, in order to properly engage the door latch. Loosen the door striker bolts. Adjust the door striker. Tighten: Tighten the door striker bolts to 24 N.m (18 lb ft).

Scheme 21

1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to «Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door»(ref-238183-S33508017412006072400000) .
2. Remove mirror. Refer to «Mirror Replacement (Manual)»(ref-238183-S04383555812006072400000) or «Mirror Replacement (Power Mirror)»(ref-238183-S13466549782006072400000) .
3. Remove the window. Refer to «Window Replacement - Front Door»(ref-238183-S08057434242006072400000) .
4. Remove the window module. Refer to «Module Replacement - Front Power Window»(ref-238183-S14622946132006072400000) .
5. Remove the inside door handle. Refer to «Door Handle Replacement - Inside»(ref-238183-S09618560212006072400000) .
6. Remove the outside door handle. Refer to «Door Handle Replacement - Outside»(ref-238183-S07060071942006072400000) .
7. Remove the door lock actuator. Refer to «Lock Actuator Replacement - Front Door»(ref-238183-S42383181662006072400000) .
8. Remove the weatherstrip from the door. Refer to «Weatherstrip Replacement - Front Door»(ref-238183-S23391840422006072400000) .
9. Disconnect the door wire harness. Refer to «Wiring Harness Replacement - Door»(ref-238183-S34101875012006072400000) .
10. Remove the door check link bolt from the pillar side.
11. Remove the bolts from the upper door hinge and the lower door hinge.
12. With an assistant, lift the door up from the hinge pins, and remove the door from the vehicle.
