Windows 2 illustrations ~2131 words

PRELIMINARY INSPECTION

Check ECU-IG, GAUGE and POWER fuses. Ensure accessory power relay is securely mounted in its connector. Before replacing a component, inspect connector terminals for backed out pins, corroded or dirty connections and loose terminals. Check that ground connection is clean and tight. If no problem is found, repair by symptom. See SYMPTOM INDEX table under SYMPTOM TESTS.

SYMPTOM TESTS

Note. After performing appropriate system test(s) and making repairs, repeat SYSTEM CHECK to ensure system is operational.
