DESCRIPTION & OPERATION

Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) system allows driver to operate door locks from outside vehicle using a hand held radio transmitter. Depressing UNLOCK button once unlocks driver's door, flashes park lamps twice and illuminates interior lights for 15 seconds or until ignition is turned to RUN position.
Depressing UNLOCK button a second time within 5 seconds unlocks all doors and illuminates interior lights for 15 seconds. Depressing LOCK button locks all doors, flashes park lamps once and turn off interior lights.
If UNLOCK button is pressed and no door is opened, doors will lock automatically after 30 seconds.
SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK
- Turn ignition to LOCK position. Remove ignition key. Exit vehicle and close all doors. Press transmitter LOCK button for 1 second and release. All doors should lock and parking lamps should flash once.
- Press transmitter UNLOCK button once for 1 second and release. Driver door should unlock and parking lamps should flash twice. Dome light should turn on for 15 seconds and after 30 seconds, driver door should lock.
- Press transmitter UNLOCK button twice within 5 seconds. All doors should unlock and parking lamps should flash twice. Dome light should turn on for 15 seconds and after 30 seconds, all doors should lock.
- Press transmitter UNLOCK button twice within 5 seconds. Open and close any door within 30 seconds. All doors should unlock and parking lamps should flash twice. Dome light should turn on for 15 seconds and after 30 seconds, all doors should remain unlocked.
