Removal Procedure

  1. Lower the instrument panel (I/P) closeout panel. Refer to «Instrument Panel Insulator Replacement»(ref-299568-S39873684372008092400000) .
  2. Remove the screws securing the data link connector (DLC) to the I/P carrier.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the screws securing the DLC to the I/P carrier. Tighten: Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).
  2. Install the I/P closeout panel. Refer to «Instrument Panel Insulator Replacement»(ref-299568-S39873684372008092400000) .
