- Remove the cigar lighter fuse.
- Place one side of the T-portion of J 42059 into the tab window. Angle the other portion into the opposite tab window. Pull the cigar lighter housing straight out.
- Remove J 42059 from the cigar lighter housing.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the housing.
- Remove the housing retainer by using your index finger and pulling out.
Installation Procedure
- Position the cigar lighter housing retainer, placing the key to the slot into the cigar lighter housing hole.
- Install the housing retainer by pressing into place until fully seated.
- Connect the electrical connector to the housing.
- Position the housing to the retainer.
- Install the housing into the front console. Press into place until fully seated.
- Install the cigar lighter fuse.
- Inspect the cigar lighter for proper operation.

- Remove the 12-volt power supply fuse.
- Remove the 12-volt power supply receptacle by placing one side of the "T" portion of J 42059 into the tab window. Angle the other side into the opposite tab window. Pull the 12-volt power supply receptacle straight out.
- Remove J 42059 from the power supply receptacle.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the power supply receptacle.
- Using your index finger, pull out the power supply retainer.

- Position the 12-volt power supply retainer with the key to the slot into the power supply hole.
- Install the power supply retainer pressing into place until fully seated.
- Connect the electrical connector to the I/P power supply receptacle.
- Position the power supply receptacle to the retainer.
- Install the power supply receptacle into the I/P, pressing into place until fully seated.
- Install the power supply fuse.
- Inspect the power supply for proper operation.
