1. Disconnect battery. See «BATTERY DISCONNECT PRECAUTIONS»(ref-170597-S34422722222005011200000).
2. Remove oil pan. See «OIL PAN»(ref-170597-S21594399982005012000000).
3. Remove ATF screen. See «ATF SCREEN»(ref-170597-S25984169962005012000000).
4. Remove valve body. See «VALVE BODY»(ref-170597-S40627592352005012000000).
5. On vehicles where transmission is installed, disconnect 14-pin connector (A) from transmission connector. see scheme 32
6. On all vehicles remove securing bolt of 14-pin connector on outside of transmission housing. Remove connector from transmission housing, and carefully guide wiring harness (D) after it. see scheme 33
7. To install, replace "O" ring on connector. Coat NEW "O" ring with ATF. Press connector with "O" ring installed to limit stop in transmission. Tighten connector bolt to specification. See «TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS»(ref-170597-S13798279542005011200000).
8. Remainder of installation is reverse of removal procedure.

11. Remove oil pan. See «OIL PAN»(ref-170597-S21594399982005012000000).
