OIL FILTER HOUSING, DRAINING

Special tools and workshop equipment required

1. Used Oil Collecting and Extracting Device V.A.G 1782
2. Oil Drain Adapter T40057

Remove the dust cap -arrow- on the oil filter housing.

Scheme 11

Hold the T40057 in the V.A.G 1782.

Install the oil drain adapter in the oil filter housing.

Scheme 12

1. A valve in the filter housing opens when the oil drain adapter is installed.

Let the engine oil drain.
