Electrical components, checking operation

The operation of the following items must be checked

1. Lights, headlights, fog lights, turn signal lights, hazard warning system, tail lights, rear fog lights, back-up lights, stop lights, parking light control
2. Interior and reading lights (automatic switch-off for front interior light), illumination of storage compartment, ashtray, ignition key
3. Warning buzzer for lights and radio (when not switched off)
4. All switches in console
5. On-board computer, auto-check system
6. Instrument cluster and additional instruments; all indicators, displays, counters, and lighting
7. Two-tone fanfare horns
8. Windshield wipers, windshield washer system, headlight cleaning system
9. Front and rear cigarette lighters
10. Power-operated exterior rear-view mirrors (heating, adjustment and fold-in)
11. Central locking system, infrared remote control, convenience closing
12. Power seat and steering wheel adjustment
13. Seat belt height adjustment
14. Heated front and rear seats
15. Radio
