Note. The following list refers to (Scheme 3).

1. Door trim Removing. See «FRONT DOOR TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING»(ref-196887-S28752884362005101000000) .
2. Door security light Clipped in door trim
3. Retaining clip For door trim
4. Expanding clip To remove, press pin approx. 4 mm inward To install, press pin from front until it locks in Depending on design status Phillips-head screws can be used instead of expanding clips
5. Phillips-head screw 1.7 Nm (15 in.lb.)
6. Door locking button
7. Deadener Fasten to adhesive area (arrows) with dual sided tape
8. Trim Inserted on to door trim Pry off carefully
9. Phillips-head screw 1.8 Nm (16 in.lb.)
10. Door inner activation
11. Handle well-upper part With switch mounting To remove handle well, remove lower part and unscrew screws -12- Shown in one part version

Scheme 3

1. Pry trim plate -3- at door trim from retaining clips carefully.
2. Press pin -1- of expanding clip -2- approx. 4 mm and remove expanding clips. NOTE: Do not press pins completely to remove door trim. Depending on design status, Phillips-head screws can be used instead of expanding clips.
3. Pry off lower part of handle well using dull screwdriver (arrow).
4. Remove lower part of handle well from door trim.
5. Remove screws -3- for handle well upper part -2-.
6. Remove handle well-upper part from the top out of door trim -1-. NOTE: For one part handle well upper part, the front part of the handle well upper part (with switches) must be unclipped from the door trim and connectors disconnected.
7. Remove Phillips-head screws (arrows).
8. Remove Phillips-head screws -2-. see scheme 6
9. Loosen adhesive from rear filler -1- at window frame.
10. For vehicles with memory function and/or auxiliary heater unscrew Phillips-head screw -1- of switch mounting -2- at door trim.
11. Remove switch mounting and disconnect connectors -3-.
12. Unclip door trim -1- from support for door interior components. 2 - Retaining clips for door trim.
13. Remove door trim from top over the door safety button.
14. Slope door trim and remove connector from switch for interior lock driver side.
15. Pry lock clip -1- at Bowden cable -2- of door opener.
16. Unhook nipple of Bowden cable with retaining clip -3- at door opener. NOTE: Make sure that the retaining clip of Bowden cable does not get lost.
17. Loosen clip -1- of air duct -2- at door trim.
18. Disconnect all connectors for wiring harness door trim.
19. Remove retaining clips for wiring harness.
