REMOVING

Turn on the ignition.
Disconnect the battery ground (GND) cable with the ignition turned on. Refer to [For engine(s) CAUA,CAEB,CALA] Removal and Installation
Attach the front seat to the fixture for seat repairVAS 6136. Refer to FRONT SEAT, INSTALLING ON THE Fixture for Seat RepairVAS 6136 .
Remove backrest cover panel. Refer to BACKREST COVER .
Remove the backrest frame trim. Refer to BACKREST FRAME TRIM .
Remove headrests. Refer to

- «POWER HEADRESTS»(/audi/a5/i-2007-2011/remont/seats/#seat-frames-coupe) .
Remove the entry assistance trim. Refer to ENTRY ASSISTANCE TRIM .
Remove cover with upholstery. Refer to BACKREST COVER AND UPHOLSTERY .
Push the bracket -2- up as far as the stop.
Scheme 151
Disengage the connecting cable -1- at the bracket -2-.
Drill the rivets -1- on the backrest frame -2-.

Press the end of the release cable -1- out of the bracket -2-.
Remove the bracket from the backrest frame.
