Checking internal resistance

  1. Switch off ignition.
  1. Disconnect connector - arrow - at camshaft adjuster.

  1. Connect multimeter and measure resistance at valve.
  1. Specification: 10...18 ohms

If reading does not match specification

  1. Replace valve.

If measured value matches specification

  1. Check power supply.
