RADIATOR AND COOLANT FAN ASSEMBLY OVERVIEW

WARNINGRisk of injury from coolant fan starting by itself. Before working in fan shroud area, disconnect electrical connectors.

  1. Coolant Fan -V7- With coolant fan control module -J293- Removing and installing, refer to «COOLANT FANS»(ref-496039-S30172444172012082100000)
  2. Nut 5 Nm
  3. Fan Rib Removing and installing, refer to «FAN SHROUD»(ref-496039-S03744169842012082100000)
  4. Upper Coolant Hose Lift the retaining clamp to remove Connect to the radiator «RADIATOR AND COOLANT FAN ASSEMBLY OVERVIEW»(ref-496039-S33964898452012082100000)
  5. O-ring Replace
  6. Radiator Removing and installing, refer to «RADIATOR»(ref-496039-S05831779592012082100000) Change coolant after replacing
  7. O-ring Replace
  8. Lower Coolant Hose Lift the retaining clamp to remove Connect to the radiator «RADIATOR AND COOLANT FAN ASSEMBLY OVERVIEW»(ref-496039-S33964898452012082100000)
  9. Bolt 5 Nm
  10. Nut 5 Nm
  11. Bolt 5 Nm
  12. Coolant Fan 2 -V177- Removing and installing, refer to «COOLANT FANS»(ref-496039-S30172444172012082100000)

Remove the old O-ring -2- in the coolant hose -3-.

Coat new O-ring with coolant and install it in the coolant hose.

Press the coolant hose onto the connection -1- until it engages audibly.

Press the coolant hose on again and pull to make sure the connection is engaged correctly.
