Scheme 40

1. Turn the map light switch OFF.
2. Carefully pry the lens (A) off with a small screwdriver. Front Individual Map Light: 8 W x 2
3. Remove the screws, then remove the front individual map lights (B).
4. Disconnect the connectors (C) from the lights.
5. Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position according to the table.
6. If the continuity is not as specified, check the bulb(s). If the bulb(s) are OK, replace the map lights.
7. Install the lights in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 41

1. Turn the ceiling light switch OFF.
2. Carefully pry the lens (A) off with a small screwdriver. Ceiling Light: 8 W
3. Remove the screws, then remove the ceiling light (B).
4. Disconnect the 3P connector (C) from the ceiling light.
5. Check for continuity between the terminals. There should be continuity between terminals No. 1 and No. 2 with the switch in the MIDDLE (DOOR) position. There should be continuity between terminals No. 2 and No. 3 (body ground) with the switch in the ON position. There should be no continuity between terminals No. 1 and No. 2, and between terminals No. 2 and No. 3 (body ground) with the switch in the OFF position.
6. If the continuity is not as specified, check the bulb. If the bulb is OK, replace the ceiling light.
7. Install the light in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 42

1. Open the trunk lid.
2. Carefully pry out the trunk light (A). Trunk Light: 5 W
3. Disconnect the 2P connector (B) from the light.
4. Check for continuity between terminals No. 1 (+) and No. 2 (-). There should be continuity. If there is no continuity, check the bulb. If the bulb is OK, replace the trunk light assembly.
5. Install the light in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 43

1. Open the tailgate.
2. Carefully pry out the cargo area light (A). Cargo Area Light: 5 W
3. Disconnect the 2P connector (B) from the light.
4. Check for continuity between the terminals. There should be continuity between the No. 1 and No. 2 terminals with the switch in the ON position. There should be no continuity between the No. 1 and No. 2 terminals with the switch in the OFF position.
5. If the continuity is not as specified, check the bulb (C). If the bulb is OK, replace the light.
6. Install the light in the reverse order of removal.

Interior Light Switch Test/Replacement

Note. The interior light switch is built into the moonroof switch.

Scheme 44

1. Remove the front individual map lights (see «FRONT INDIVIDUAL MAP LIGHT TEST/REPLACEMENT»(/acura/tsx/ii-2008-2014/remont/interiorillumination-lights/#interior-lights-4-cyl) ).
2. Disconnect the moonroof switch 12P connector (A) and the map light 3P connector (B).
3. Remove the moonroof switch (C) from the map light housing.
4. At the moonroof switch side, check for continuity between terminals No. 9 and No. 7. There should be continuity when the interior light switch is in the DOOR position. There should be no continuity when the interior light switch is in the OFF position.
5. If the continuity is not as specified, replace the moonroof switch assembly.
6. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

Ambient Light Test/Replacement

Note. The ambient light is built into the moonroof switch.

Scheme 45

1. Remove the front individual map lights (see «FRONT INDIVIDUAL MAP LIGHT TEST/REPLACEMENT»(/acura/tsx/ii-2008-2014/remont/interiorillumination-lights/#interior-lights-4-cyl) ).
2. Disconnect the moonroof switch 12P connector (A) and the map light 3P connector (B).
3. Remove the moonroof switch (C) from the map light housing.
4. At the moonroof switch side, check the light by connecting battery power to terminal No. 3 and ground to terminal No. 1. The ambient light should come on. If the light does not come on, replace the moonroof switch assembly.
5. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 46

1. Carefully pry off the lens (A) with a small screwdriver. Courtesy Light: 2 CP
2. Remove the bulb (B) from the socket.
3. Install the light in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 47

1. Remove the glove box stops and damper (see «GLOVE BOX DAMPER REPLACEMENT»(/acura/tsx/ii-2008-2014/remont/gauges-instrument-panels/#dashboard-4-cyl__glove-box-damper-replacement) ).
2. Disconnect the 2P connector (A) from the glove box light (B). Glove Box Light: LED
3. Remove the light.
4. Install the light in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 48

1. Remove the sunvisor (see «SUNVISOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(/acura/tsx/ii-2008-2014/remont/exteriorinterior-trim/#interior-trim-4-cyl__sunvisor-removalinstallation) ).
2. Disconnect the 2P connector (A) from the sunvisor (B). Vanity Mirror Light: 2 W x 2
3. Check for continuity between terminals No. 1 and No. 2. With the vanity mirror cover (C) opened, there should be continuity. With the vanity mirror cover closed, there should be no continuity.
4. If the continuity is not as specified, check the bulbs (D). If the bulbs are OK, replace the sunvisor (see «SUNVISOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(/acura/tsx/ii-2008-2014/remont/exteriorinterior-trim/#interior-trim-4-cyl__sunvisor-removalinstallation) ).
5. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 49

1. Remove the driver's dashboard undercover (see «DRIVER'S DASHBOARD UNDERCOVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(/acura/tsx/ii-2008-2014/remont/gauges-instrument-panels/#dashboard-4-cyl__drivers-dashboard-undercover-removalinstallation) ).
2. Disconnect the 2P connector (A) from the driver's footwell light (B). Footwell Light: LED
3. Remove the light.
4. Install the light in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 50

1. Remove the passenger's dashboard undercover (see «PASSENGER'S DASHBOARD UNDERCOVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(/acura/tsx/ii-2008-2014/remont/gauges-instrument-panels/#dashboard-4-cyl__passengers-dashboard-undercover-removalinstallation) ).
2. Disconnect the 2P connector (A) from the passenger's footwell light (B). Footwell Light: LED
3. Remove the light.
4. Install the light in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 51

1. Remove the center pocket (see «CENTER POCKET REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(/acura/tsx/ii-2008-2014/remont/gauges-instrument-panels/#dashboard-4-cyl__center-pocket-removalinstallation) ).
2. Disconnect the 2P connector (A) from the center pocket light (B). Center Pocket Light: LED
3. Remove the light.
4. Install the light in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 52

1. Open the trunk lid.
2. Disconnect the 3P connector (A) from the trunk lid latch (B).
3. Check for continuity between terminals No. 1 and No. 2. There should be continuity with the trunk lid open. There should be no continuity with the trunk lid closed.
4. If the continuity is not as specified, replace the trunk lid latch (see «TRUNK LID LATCH REPLACEMENT»(/acura/tsx/ii-2008-2014/remont/communication-devices/#openers-4-cyl__trunk-lid-latch-replacement) ).

Scheme 53

1. Open the tailgate.
2. Remove the tailgate lower trim panel (see «TAILGATE TRIM PANEL»(/acura/tsx/ii-2008-2014/remont/exteriorinterior-trim/#interior-trim-4-cyl__tailgate-trim-panel) ).
3. Disconnect the 2P connector (A) from the tailgate latch switch (B).
4. Check for continuity between the No. 1 and No. 2 terminals. With the tailgate open, there should be continuity. With the tailgate closed, there should be no continuity.
5. If the continuity is not as specified, replace the switch (see «TAILGATE LATCH REPLACEMENT»(/acura/tsx/ii-2008-2014/remont/communication-devices/#openers-4-cyl) ).
