  1. Separate the lumbar support switch cover (A) from the switch (B)
  2. Disconnect the 5P connector (C) from the switch
  3. Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position according to the table
  4. If the continuity is not as specified, replace the switch

  1. Remove the front seat-back cover, and seat-back cover/pad (see «FRONT SEAT-BACK COVER REPLACEMENT»(/acura/tl/iv-2008-2011/remont/seats/#seats__front-seat-back-cover-replacement) )
  2. Disconnect the 2P connector (A) from the lumbar support motor (B)
  3. Test the motor by applying battery power and body ground to the terminals
  4. If the motor does not run or fails to run smoothly, replace it (see «FRONT SEAT LUMBAR SUPPORT REPLACEMENT»(/acura/tl/iv-2008-2011/remont/seats/#seats__front-seat-lumbar-support-replacement) )
