This method consists of

  1. see «PIPE/HOSE BETWEEN THE COMPRESSOR AND THE CONDENSER (PRESSURE SIDE), REPLACE»(ref-476744-S10570887292012060500000)
  2. see «PIPE/HOSE BETWEEN THE JUNCTION POINT ON THE SIDE MEMBER AND THE COMPRESSOR (SUCTION SIDE), REPLACE»(ref-476744-S29106542702012060500000) .

Scheme 156: REMOVING THE PIPE/HOSE BETWEEN THE COMPRESSOR AND THE CONDENSER (PRESSURE SIDE)

Remove

  1. the left-hand headlamp. See «LIGHTING - REMOVAL, REPLACEMENT AND INSTALLATION»(ref-476710)
  2. the 1x screw and 1x nut. Remove the link from the hood release catch (as shown in the illustration)
  3. the 1x screw from the hose/pipe connection between the compressor and the condenser
  4. the pipe from the mounting clip between the condenser and twist carefully to one side.

Raise the car

Hang the lower coolant hose so that it is away from the air conditioning (A/C) compressor.

Remove

  1. The air conditioning (A/C) compressor lower pipe/hose connection and place it to one side
  2. the 1x screw. Remove the upper pipe/hose connector for the air conditioning (A/C) compressor.

Lift the air conditioning (A/C) pipe (hose) off the holder on the sub-frame, above the coolant hose.

Remove the heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) cable from the air conditioning (A/C) pipe (hose).

Lower the vehicle.

Lift out the air conditioning pipe (A/C) (hose) through the engine compartment.
