INSTALLING THE COMPRESSOR

Note. For tightening torques, see: TIGHTENING TORQUE .

If necessary, top up the compressor oil. See: OIL AIR CONDITIONING (A/C) SYSTEM, FILLING .

Hold the cable conduit to one side. Install the compressor between the sub-frame and the body.

Install the mounting screws and tighten.

Note. Always use new O-rings lubricated with compressor oil.

Install

  1. the low and high pressure hoses. On certain models it may be easier to install and tighten the screws from above.
  2. the magnetic clutch connector.

Install

  1. the cable conduit on the sub-frame. Tighten.
  2. the air duct on the control module box on the sub-frame.

Install

  1. the protective cover under the engine
  2. the front splash guard.

Lower the vehicle.

Install the auxiliaries belt. See
