Note. Tape around the window to protect the paint.
Scheme 153
1 = PUR bead.
2 = Windshield removal knife (see, see WINDOW KNIFE ).
3 = Guide hole.
4 = Spacers.
Use short bladed knife see 9512787
Start at the upper corner and cut along the sides and top edge.
Note. Be careful at the spacers (4). Do not damage the paint work.
Use long bladed knife see 9512788.
Cut at the bottom edge.
Carefully remove the window.
Remove the connectors for the heated rear windshield.
Lift out the windshield and place it on the stand.

WINDOW KNIFE AND BLADES
It can be difficult or impossible to remove some windows with string.
For this reason a window knife with long and short blades has been produced.

Push tip of knife through adhesive bead.
Hold the shaft of the knife.
Pull the draw-handle.
