Installing Components

Raise the car. Install

1. the pipe screw that holds the turbocharger (TC) oil pressure pipe to the engine. Use new seal washers. Tighten. See «Summary of specific components and tightening torques»(ref-440294-S04852036502011121400000)
2. the turbocharger (TC) oil return line. Use a new gasket and sealing ring. Tighten. See «Summary of specific components and tightening torques»(ref-440294-S04852036502011121400000)
3. the clamp between the oil pressure pipe and the oil return line. Tighten the three nuts that hold the front exhaust pipe to the turbocharger (TC). See «Summary of specific components and tightening torques»(ref-440294-S04852036502011121400000) .
4. the lower screw for the heat deflector plate over the turbocharger (TC)
5. the splash guard under the engine
6. the plastic nuts for the hatch in the right fender liner
7. the right front wheel. See «Installing wheels»(ref-440302-S30067264572011121400000) .

Lower the car.

Tighten the pipe screw for the turbocharger (TC) oil pressure pipe. See Summary of specific components and tightening torques .

Install

1. the ground strips between the cylinder head and the firewall
2. the engine stabilizer brace between the suspension turrets Clamp the servo hose at the right-hand engine stabilizer brace mounting
3. the negative battery lead. First read «Battery, disconnecting»(ref-440259-S31019869382011121400000) .
