Contact reel / driver airbag module, resetting

Scheme 227
Remove
- the battery lead. See «Battery, disconnecting»(ref-415278-S03862267492011081500000)
- the steering wheel. See «Steering wheel, replacing»(ref-445664-S11936197072012010600000) .
Scheme 228
Remove one Torx 20 screw.
Scheme 229
Turn the contact reel counter-clockwise to the limit position.
Scheme 230
Turn the contact reel clockwise two complete revolutions. Then turn clockwise until the screw hole is in position "one o'clock" as shown.
Note. On later car models, the yellow marking must also be visible in the window.
Scheme 231
Install the screw when the contact reel is in the locked position.
The contact reel is now reset and locked (secured).
