General information about handling battery isolators
Note. The following applies only to cars with alarms: if the car needs to be locked when the battery isolator is installed, wait for 30seconds before mechanically locking the car. The remote control cannot be used. If the car is locked too quickly, the siren is activated when the battery isolator disconnects the battery.
The battery isolator must be returned and reused several times.

Scheme 72
Remove
- the panel in front of the rear electronic module (REM)
- the yellow cable (1) for the battery isolator from the rear electronic module (REM)
- the red cable (2) for the battery isolator from the battery positive terminal.
Scheme 73
Remove
- the battery negative lead (1) from the battery isolator
- the battery isolator (2) from the battery negative terminal
- the cables from the battery isolator and discard them.
Scheme 74
Connect the battery negative lead to the battery negative terminal. Tighten to 6 1.5 Nm .
Place the protective cover over the battery. Position the bracket over the cover. Secure the bracket using the two nuts and the screw. Tighten to 25 Nm .
Install the storage compartment if applicable. Close the floor hatch.
Reinstall the panel in front of the rear electronic module (REM).
