LIFTING PRECAUTIONS

  1. In order to prevent vehicle damage, use a suitable wood or rubber block between jack and body.
  2. Vehicle must NEVER be lifted on engine oil pan, transmission, rear axle, front axle or bottom sill.
  3. Hoists with liquid cushions must NOT be used to raise the vehicle.

LIFT POINTS FOR FLOOR JACK & HOISTS

On front of vehicle, lift at reinforcing plate welded to floor panel. (Scheme 1) Position support so rear edge aligns with center of sill depression.

CAUTIONDO NOT lift vehicle on vertical sill reinforcement or damage to vehicle could result.

On rear of vehicle, lift at reinforcing plate welded to floor panel. (Scheme 1)Position support so that rear edge aligns with center of sill depression.

Front

  1. To adjust front camber, install Camber Adjustment Tool (3270). Loosen lower strut mounting bolt.
  2. Adjust camber by turning spindle to specified setting.
  3. Tighten strut-to-wheel spindle mounting bolt. See «TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS»(ref-62276-S35905816892004022300000) . Recheck camber setting. Repeat adjustment, if necessary.
