PRELIMINARY WHEEL ALIGNMENT CHECKS
Before beginning wheel alignment, please check the following
- Ensure wheel alignment equipment is properly calibrated.
- Vehicle alignment should not be checked before the vehicle has completed 600-1200 miles so that the coil springs have had a chance to settle.
- Vehicle should be unladen with fuel tank filled, spare tire installed, and vehicle tools and jack on board.
- Tires must be inflated to correct pressure.
- Vehicle should be bounced and rocked several times.
- Suspension, steering and steering linkage must be checked for excessive play and damage. Repair as necessary.
- Check wheels for correct balance and vertical wheel runout.
CAMBER ADJUSTMENT
Note. Do not move steering with in Camber Adjustment Tool (3270) place.
CASTER ADJUSTMENT
Caster is not adjustable. Additional information is not available from manufacturer.
TOE-IN ADJUSTMENT
To adjust front toe-in, rotate right tie rod end only. Additional information is not available from manufacturer.
