IDLE SPEED EXCEEDS SPECIFICATION

  1. Check throttle cable adjustment.
  2. Check fuel evaporative frequency solenoid(s).
  3. Check auxiliary air intake system.
  4. Check idle speed.
  5. Check TP sensor.
  6. Check idle switch.
  7. Check engine coolant temperature sensor.
  8. Check throttle body basic adjustment.
  9. Check ignition timing.
