STEERING SYSTEM, BLEEDING
Raise vehicle enough that front wheels turn without resistance.
Check hydraulic fluid level and top off, if necessary POWER STEERING FLUID LEVEL, CHECKING .
Start engine and let it run at idle for approximately 5 seconds.
Switch off engine and check hydraulic fluid level.
Repeat procedure once more.
Start engine again and turn steering wheel 3 times from stop to stop at idle speed.
Switch off engine and check hydraulic fluid level, top off if necessary.
Repeat procedure 2 times.
To dissipate gas of hydraulic fluid, let engine stand 2 to 3 minutes.
Lower vehicle
Once more, turn steering wheel 5 times from stop to stop at idle speed.
Steering system has been bled when air bubbles no longer rise to the surface in hydraulic fluid reservoir.
After completing the bleeding procedure, install cap on reservoir hand-tight.
