Partial repair

1. When performing a partial repair the lower outer reinforcement must not be cut.
2. Due to an internal reinforcement the parting cut - c - is only permissible at this position!
3. Butt weld parting cut, SG continuous seam.
4. Remove excess material.

1. A pillar sub-part with sill
2. Adhesive: DA 001 730 A1

Preparing new part

Scheme 57

1. Transfer separating cut to new part and cut-out.

1. Adapt new part with vehicle standing on its wheels or on alignment fixtures and tack weld.

Scheme 58

1. Weld in A pillar, RP spot weld seam.
