INSTALLATION

  1. INSTALL CLEARANCE WARNING ECU Install the clearance warning ECU with the nut. Connect each connector.
  2. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD INSERT SUB-ASSEMBLY (See «INSTALLATION»(ref-282145-S25779427752008032900000) )
  3. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY LOWER LH

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER Remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer as shown in the illustration.
  6. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR Disconnect the connector and remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor.

  1. INSPECT NO.1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below. Standard resistance TESTER CONNECTION AND SPECIFIED CONDITION Tester connection Condition Specified condition 1 - 2 Always 8 to 12 kohms If the result is not as specified, replace No.1 ultrasonic sensor.
  1. INSTALL NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR Connect the connector and install the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor.
  2. INSTALL NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER Install the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer.
  3. INSTALL REAR BUMPER COVER (See «INSTALLATION»(ref-282144-S28987888892008032900000) )
  4. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER COVER (See «INSTALLATION»(ref-282144-S20417765232008032900000) )

  1. REMOVE REAR BUMPER COVER (See «REMOVAL»(ref-282144-S02635631832008032900000) )
  2. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER Remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer as shown in the illustration.
  3. REMOVE NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR Disconnect the connector and remove the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor.
