  1. PRECAUTION NOTE: After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work. Refer to «PRECAUTION»(ref-493289-S42810490842012081000000).
  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
  3. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL CENTER . Refer to «REMOVAL - Step 8»(/toyota/rav4/iv-2012-2015/remont/gauges-instrument-panels/#instrument-panel-service-information)
  4. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL CENTER . Refer to «REMOVAL - Step 9»(/toyota/rav4/iv-2012-2015/remont/gauges-instrument-panels/#instrument-panel-service-information)
  5. REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET for Not Standard Type: Remove the 4 bolts. Pull the radio receiver assembly to detach the 2 claws and 4 clips on the backside of the radio receiver assembly. Disconnect all the connectors and remove the radio receiver assembly with bracket. for Standard Type: Remove the 4 bolts. Pull the radio receiver assembly to detach the 2 claws and 4 clips on the backside of the radio receiver assembly. Disconnect all the connectors and remove the radio receiver assembly with bracket.
  6. REMOVE RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET Remove the 4 bolts. Pull the radio and display receiver assembly to detach the 2 claws and 4 clips on the backside of the radio and display receiver assembly. Disconnect all the connectors and remove the radio and display receiver assembly with bracket. for Not Standard Type
  7. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY Detach the 4 claws and remove the instrument cluster finish panel.
  8. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIO BRACKET for Not-standard Type: Remove the 4 bolts and No. 1 radio bracket from the radio receiver assembly. for Standard Type: Remove the 4 bolts and No. 1 radio bracket from the radio receiver assembly. for Radio and display Type: Remove the 4 bolts and No. 1 radio bracket from the radio and display receiver assembly.
  9. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIO BRACKET for Not-standard Type: Remove the 4 bolts and No. 2 radio bracket from the radio receiver assembly. for Standard Type: Remove the 4 bolts and No. 2 radio bracket from the radio receiver assembly. for Radio and display Type: Remove the 4 bolts and No. 2 radio bracket from the radio and display receiver assembly.

  1. INSTALL NO. 1 RADIO BRACKET for Radio and display Type: Install the No. 1 radio bracket to the radio and display receiver assembly with the 4 bolts. for Standard Type: Install the No. 1 radio bracket to the radio receiver assembly with the 4 bolts. for Not-standard Type: Install the No. 1 radio bracket to the radio receiver assembly with the 4 bolts.

INSTALL NO. 2 RADIO BRACKET for Radio and display Type: Install the No. 2 radio bracket to the radio and display receiver assembly with the 4 bolts. for Standard Type: Install the No. 2 radio bracket to the radio receiver assembly with the 4 bolts. for Not-standard Type: Install the No. 2 radio bracket to the radio receiver assembly with the 4 bolts.
  3. INSTALL INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY Attach the 4 claws to install the instrument cluster finish panel.
  4. INSTALL RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET Connect all the connectors. Insert the radio and display receiver assembly with the bracket to attach the 2 claws and 4 clips on its backside. Install the 4 bolts. Torque: 12.8 N*m (130 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf)
  5. INSTALL RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET for Not-standard Type: Connect all the connectors. Insert the radio receiver assembly with the bracket to attach the 2 claws and 4 clips on its backside. Install the 4 bolts. Torque: 12.8 N*m (130 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf) for Standard Type: Connect all the connectors. Insert the radio receiver assembly with the bracket to attach the 2 claws and 4 clips on its backside. Install the 4 bolts. Torque: 12.8 N*m (130 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf)
  6. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL CENTER . Refer to «INSTALLATION - Step 8»(/toyota/rav4/iv-2012-2015/remont/gauges-instrument-panels/#instrument-panel-service-information)

  1. INSTALL STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY Install the stereo component amplifier with the 3 bolts. HINT: Install the bolts in the order shown in the illustration. Torque: 7.4 N*m (75 kgf*cm, 65 in.*lbf) Connect the connectors.
