  1. PRECAUTION NOTE: After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work. Refer to «PRECAUTION»(/toyota/prius-v/i-2011-2014/remont/hoistjack/#introduction) .
  2. REMOVE DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY . Refer to «REMOVAL - Step 1»(/toyota/prius-v/i-2011-2014/remont/exteriorinterior-trim/#interior-panels-trim-service-information)

  7. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected. Refer to «INITIALIZATION»(/toyota/prius-v/i-2011-2014/remont/hoistjack/#introduction__initialization) .
  8. REMOVE INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL . Refer to «REMOVAL - Step 8»(/toyota/prius-v/i-2011-2014/remont/exteriorinterior-trim/#interior-panels-trim-service-information)
  9. REMOVE PUSH START SWITCH Disengage the 2 claws and remove the push start switch.

  1. INSPECT POWER SWITCH Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below. Standard Resistance Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition 7 (SS1) - 5 (GND) Pushed Below 1 ohms 2 (SS2) - 5 (GND) Pushed Below 1 ohms 7 (SS1) - 5 (GND) Not pushed 10 kohms or higher 2 (SS2) - 5 (GND) Not pushed 10 kohms or higher If the result is not as specified, replace the power switch. Apply auxiliary battery voltage between the terminals of the switch, and check the illumination condition of the power switch. TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION *a Indicator Light *b Power Switch Illumination Standard Resistance Measurement Condition Specified Condition Auxiliary battery positive (+) -->Terminal 11 (SWIL) Auxiliary battery negative (-) -->Terminal 4 (COM) or 5 (GND) Illuminates (Power Switch Illumination) Auxiliary battery positive (+) -->Terminal 12 (INDS) Auxiliary battery negative (-) -->Terminal 4 (COM) or 5 (GND) Illuminates (Indicator Light) Auxiliary battery positive (+) -->Terminal 13 (INDW) Auxiliary battery negative (-) -->Terminal 4 (COM) or 5 (GND) Illuminates (Indicator Light) If the result is not as specified, replace the power switch.

INSTALLATION

  1. INSTALL PUSH START SWITCH Engage the 2 claws to install the push start switch.
  2. INSTALL INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL . Refer to «INSTALLATION - Step 27»(/toyota/prius-v/i-2011-2014/remont/exteriorinterior-trim/#interior-panels-trim-service-information)
  3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected. Refer to «INITIALIZATION»(/toyota/prius-v/i-2011-2014/remont/hoistjack/#introduction__initialization) .
  4. INSTALL DECK FLOOR BOX RH . Refer to «INSTALLATION - Step 55»(/toyota/prius-v/i-2011-2014/remont/exteriorinterior-trim/#interior-panels-trim-service-information)
