PROCEDURE

  1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (DRIVER DOOR WINDOW MOTOR) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3. Turn the ignition switch to ON (IG). Turn the Techstream on. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / D-Door Motor / Active Test. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the Techstream. WARNING: Be careful to avoid injuries as this test causes vehicle parts to move. During the Active Test, the jam protection function will not operate. D-DOOR MOTOR Tester Display Test Part Control Range Diagnostic Note Power Window Power window OFF / UP / DOWN - OK Driver door power window motor operates. NG --> See step 6 OK: Go to next step
  2. PERFORM INITIALIZATION (DRIVER DOOR WINDOW) Initialize the power window regulator motor assembly LH (for driver door). Refer to «INITIALIZATION [12/2013 - ]»(ref-651192-S32286614642014081900000) . NEXT: Go to next step
  3. CHECK POWER WINDOW CONTROL SYSTEM (DRIVER DOOR WINDOW) Check that the driver door power window operates normally by opening and closing the window. Refer to «OPERATION CHECK [12/2013 - ]»(ref-651192-S34636272022014081900000) . OK Driver door power window operates normally. NG --> See step 6 OK: Go to next step
  4. CHECK WHETHER PARTS HAVE BEEN INSTALLED CORRECTLY Check that the power window components are installed correctly. OK Power window components are installed correctly. NG --> INSTALL PARTS CORRECTLY OK: Go to next step
  5. CHECK DTC OUTPUT Turn the ignition switch off. Wait for at least 10 seconds, and then turn the ignition switch to ON (IG). Check for DTCs. Refer to «DTC CHECK / CLEAR [12/2013 - ]»(ref-651192-S32308319922014081900000) . OK B2311 output does not recur. NG --> See step 6 OK --> END
  6. REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH (FOR DRIVER DOOR). Refer to «REMOVAL [12/2013 - ]»(ref-651395-S27523546072014081900000)
  1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT Clear the DTC. Refer to «DTC CHECK / CLEAR [12/2013 - ]»(ref-651192-S32308319922014081900000) . Check for DTCs. Refer to «DTC CHECK / CLEAR [12/2013 - ]»(ref-651192-S32308319922014081900000) . OK DTC B2312 is not output. NG --> See step 2 OK --> END (DUE TO SWITCH BEING OPERATED FOR 20 SECONDS OR MORE)

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH - POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR LH (FOR DRIVER DOOR)) Disconnect the J1 power window regulator master switch assembly connector. Disconnect the J3 power window regulator motor assembly LH (for driver door) connector. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.   6. REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY. Refer to «REMOVAL [12/2013 - ]»(ref-651395-S41081606092014081900000)
  1. PERFORM INITIALIZATION (DRIVER DOOR WINDOW) Initialize the power window regulator motor assembly LH (for driver door). Refer to «INITIALIZATION [12/2013 - ]»(ref-651192-S32286614642014081900000) . NEXT: Go to next step
  2. CHECK DTC OUTPUT Turn the ignition switch off. Wait for at least 10 seconds, and then turn the ignition switch to ON (IG). Check for DTCs. Refer to «DTC CHECK / CLEAR [12/2013 - ]»(ref-651192-S32308319922014081900000) . OK B2313 output does not recur. NG --> See step 3 OK --> END (PROBLEM DUE TO INITIALIZATION FAILURE)

  1. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (WINDOW LOCK SWITCH) Turn the window lock switch off and operate the switches on the power window regulator master switch assembly. Check that the remote UP/DOWN function operates normally. OK Remote UP/DOWN function operates normally. NG --> See step 2 OK --> END
