- Check Fuse Check if the D front door 20 A, ECU B 7.5 A and IG1 7.5 A fuses are normal. OK: Go To Step 2 , (Check Power Window Regulator Master Switch Assembly). NG: Replace Fuse
- Check Power Window Regulator Master Switch Assembly Check the power source voltage. Disconnect the master switch assembly connector. Check the voltage of each terminal of vehicle's side connector of master switch assembly. Standard: OK: Go To Step 3 , (Check Power Window Regulator Master Switch Assembly). NG: Repair Or Replace Harness And Connector
- Check Power Window Regulator Master Switch Assembly Check the GND. Disconnect the master switch assembly connector. Check the continuity between terminal 2 (GND) of vehicle's side connector of master switch assembly and the body ground. Standard: Continuity (Constant) OK: Go To Step 4 , (Check Power Window Regulator Motor Assembly LH). NG: Repair Or Replace Harness And Connector
- Check Power Window Regulator Motor Assembly LH Disconnect the master switch assembly connector. Inspect the door glass operation when the battery voltage is applied between terminals 1 (UP) and 11 (DN) of the vehicle's side connector of master switch. Standard: OK: Replace Power Window Regulator Master Switch Assembly NG: Go To Next Step .
- Inspect Power Window Regulator Motor Assembly LH Inspect the front LH power window regulator motor assembly operation. NOTE: Do not apply the battery voltage, because the pulse sensor and limit switch could be damaged if the battery voltage is applied to terminals 2, 3 and 6 of the power window regulator motor connector. Be sure to reset the power window regulator motor (initial position setting of limit switch) when the driver's side power window regulator motor is installed to the regulator. Check that the motor operates smoothly when the battery positive voltage is applied to each terminal of the connector. Standard: Inspect the PTC operation inside power window regulator motor. NOTE: Inspection should be done with the power window regulator and door glass installed to the vehicle. Set a DC 400 A probe of electrical tester in the wire harness of terminal 4 or 5. NOTE: Match the arrow mark of the probe with the current direction. Set the door glass in the fully closed position. When 60 seconds have elapsed after the door glass is fully closed, check the changing time of the current, from approximately 16 - 34 A into 1 A or less, when the power window switch is turned UP once again. Standard: Approximately 4 - 90 seconds When approximately 60 seconds have elapsed after the inspection of the current cut-off, check that the door glass goes down when the power window regulator switch is turned DOWN. OK: Repair Or Replace Harness And Connector NG: Replace Power Window Regulator Motor Assembly LH

- Check Fuse Check whether the regulator switch fuses [P front door 25 A, D rear door 20 A, P rear door 20 A] of inoperative seats are normal. NOTE: If the fuse for the passenger side door is normal, proceed to [OK-A]. If the fuse for the rear RH and LH doors is normal, proceed to [OK-B]. If the fuse for the passenger's side door is defective, proceed to [NG-A]. If the fuse for the rear RH door is defective, proceed to [NG-B]. If the fuse for the rear LH door is defective, proceed to [NG-C]. OK-B : Go To Step 6 , (Check Power Window Regulator Switch Assembly Rear). OK-A : Go To Step 2 , (Check Power Window Regulator Switch Assembly). - Check Power Window Regulator Switch Assembly Inspect the power source voltage. Disconnect the regulator switch connector. Check the voltage between terminal 7 (B) of the regulator switch vehicle's side connector and the body ground. Standard: 10 - 14 V With Ignition Switch ON OK: Go To Step 3 , (Check Power Window Regulator Switch Assembly). NG: Repair Or Replace Harness And Connector
- Check Power Window Regulator Switch Assembly Inspect the GND. Disconnect the regulator switch connector. Check the continuity between terminal 1 (E) of the regulator switch vehicle's side connector and the body ground. - Check Hand-Held Tester Monitor code Using hand-held tester, inspect the monitor code of the driver's door ECU. NOTE: Monitor code shows the switch condition when a DTC is output. When a code is indicated while the switch is not operated, the switch is detected being stuck. When a code is not indicated when the switch is operated, it is detected that the switch contact condition is bad. NG: Go To Step 3 , (Check Power Window Regulator Switch Assembly). OK: Go To Step 2 , (Check Multiplex Network Body ECU).
- Check Multiplex Network Body ECU Inspect output of the body ECU. Inspect the voltage between terminal 2 (GND) and each terminal of the door which body ECU is inoperative. Standard: NOTE: When an output to passenger's door is normal, proceed to "OK-A". When outputs to both rear doors are normal, proceed to "OK-B". When an output to either of the passenger's door and both rear doors are not normal, proceed to "NG". OK-B : Go To Step 4 , (Check Power Window Regulator Switch Assembly Rear). NG: Replace Multiplex Network Body ECU OK-A : Go To Step 3 , (Check Power Window Regulator Switch Assembly).
