Removal & Installation
- Disconnect negative battery cable and then positive cable.
- Remove air cleaner cap. (Scheme 12)
- Remove battery hold down clamp bolt, battery, and battery tray. (Scheme 12)
- If equipped, remove cruise control actuator. (Scheme 12): Disconnect the actuator connector clamp. Remove the cruise control actuator bolts and the bracket.
- Remove starter. (Scheme 12): Disconnect the starter connector. Remove the terminal nut and disconnect the starter cable from starter. Remove the mounting bolts, throttle cable clamp and starter.
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten bolts and nuts to specification. See «TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS»(ref-163568-S20940844932004070600000).
