DESCRIPTION
The certification ECU generates a request signal and transmits the signal to the front door outside handle assembly (for driver side) at an interval of 250 ms. The front door outside handle assembly (for driver side) detects when the electrical key is brought close to the vehicle, and when a request signal is received from within 1.0 m (3.28 ft.) of the driver door, the signal is transmitted at an interval of 250 ms. DTC B27A1 is stored by the certification ECU when an open circuit is detected in the circuit between the certification ECU and front door outside handle assembly (for driver side) (CLG1 - ANT1, CG1B - ANT2).

Scheme 225
When the entry operation and wireless operation of the door lock functions do not operate, a malfunction or wave interference may be occurring in either of the following: 1) the signal communication line between the door control receiver and certification ECU (the line is used by entry and wireless operations); or 2) the electrical key transmitter.
Scheme 226
When the wireless operation can be used to lock and unlock the doors, the communication line between the door control receiver and certification ECU is normal. When the entry operation does not operate, one of the following may be the cause: 1) the entry cancel function is set through customization; 2) there is a malfunction in the smart key system communication line (electrical key transmitter and vehicle); or 3) there is wave interference.
If the driver side door entry unlock function does not operate but the entry lock function operates, the communication line between the vehicle and electrical key transmitter is normal. The part at fault may be an unlock sensor circuit (front door outside handle assembly [for driver side] --> certification ECU).

If the driver side door entry lock function does not operate but the entry unlock function operates, the communication between the vehicle and electrical key transmitter is normal. The malfunctioning part may be an entry lock sensor circuit (front door outside handle assembly [for driver side] --> certification ECU).

If the front passenger side door entry lock function does not operate but the entry unlock function operates, the communication between the vehicle and electrical key transmitter is normal. Scheme 232
If the room oscillator does not recognize the key, one of the following may be the cause: 1) communication between the indoor No. 1 electrical key antenna (front floor) and electrical key transmitter cannot be performed; 2) communication between the indoor No. 2 electrical key antenna (rear floor) and electrical key transmitter cannot be performed; or 3) communication between the indoor No. 2 electrical key antenna (inside luggage) and electrical key transmitter cannot be performed.
Scheme 233
The smart key system uses the combination meter buzzer to perform various vehicle interior warnings. When the conditions of each warning are met, the certification ECU sends a buzzer signal to the combination meter assembly, and the combination meter buzzer sounds.
- If the back door entry unlock function using the back door opener switch assembly does not operate but the back door lock function operates, one of the following may be malfunctioning: 1) the back door opener switch assembly, or 2) the certification ECU.
- If the back door entry unlock function using the back door control switch does not operate but the back door lock function operates, one of the following may be malfunctioning: 1) the back door control switch, or 2) the multiplex network door ECU (back door P/W); or the multiplex network door ECU (back door P/W) receives the back door control switch unlock signal, but is unable to send the signal to the certification ECU through LIN and CAN communication.
Scheme 234
When the back door entry lock and unlock functions do not operate, one of the following may be malfunctioning: 1) the power door lock control system, 2) the electrical key antenna (outside luggage) or 3) the certification ECU.
If the back door entry lock function does not operate but the back door unlock function operates, the communication line between the vehicle and electrical key transmitter is normal. The entry lock switch circuit (back door control switch --> certification ECU) may be faulty.
