DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHT (D.R.L.) SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
The D.R.L. system light the headlights, though dimmer than the low beam, when the following 3 conditions are all met.
Conditions for D.R.L. System Operation

- The engine is running.
- The parking brake is not applied.
- The lighting switch is at either "OFF" or "SMALL" position.
AUTO-ON HEADLIGHTS SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
The auto-on headlights system works as follows.
With the ignition switch turned ON and parking brake released, when it becomes dark the headlights and clearance lights are turned ON and when it becomes bright, both of these lights are turned OFF.
