VIN Registration
Note. Be careful not to register incorrectly since VIN can be re-registered only 3 times in ECM.
- Connect SUZUKI scan tool to data link connector (DLC) located on under side of instrument panel at drive's seat side.
- Check the VIN shown at the left side of instrument panel.
- Turn ignition switch to ON position.
- Select "VIN registration" command in SELECT MODE menu of SUZUKI scan tool.
- Register VIN according to the instructions indicated on the SUZUKI scan tool. NOTE: For further details, refer to the operator's manual for SUZUKI scan tool.
- Before completed the VIN registration, check that VIN indicated on the SUZUKI scan tool is identical to VIN on instrument panel. If not, re-register VIN into ECM correctly.
