- Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
- Remove the air intake duct. Ref. to «REMOVAL»(ref-356695-S28116802952010022700000) , Air Intake Duct .
- Disconnect the connector from the mass air flow and intake air temperature sensor.
- Loosen the clamps (A) which connect the air cleaner case (rear) to intake duct.
- Remove the clip (B) securing the upper side of air cleaner case.
- Remove the air cleaner case (rear) and air cleaner element.
- Remove the bolts (A) and nut (B) which secure the air cleaner case to body.
- Remove the air cleaner case (front).
Check for cracks or loose connections.
Scheme 15
- Remove the collector cover.
- Loosen the clamp (A) which connects air intake chamber to throttle body.
- Loosen the clamp (B) which connects intake boot to air intake chamber.
- Remove the bolt (C) which secures air intake chamber and collector cover bracket to the stay.
- Disconnect the blow-by hoses, and then remove air intake chamber.
- Check for cracks or loose connections.
- Check that no foreign matter is mixed in air intake chamber.
Scheme 16
- Remove the clip holding the air intake duct.
- Remove the air intake duct.
- Check for cracks or loose connections.
- Check that no foreign matter is mixed in air intake duct.
