Continuously Variable Transaxle (Cvt): Overhaul Subaru Outback BS

DISASSEMBLY

1. Remove the dust cover from extension case.
2. Remove the extension case oil seal from the extension case. Refer to «REPLACEMENT»(ref-645992-S09075746162014072500000) .
3. Remove all plugs.

Scheme 615

1. Press-fit the dust cover into extension case.
2. Install the extension case oil seal to extension case. Refer to «REPLACEMENT»(ref-645992-S09075746162014072500000) .
3. Install all plugs. NOTE: Use a new O-ring or a gasket. Apply CVTF to the O-ring. Tightening torque: T1: 25 N.m (2.5 kgf-m, 18.4 ft-lb) T2: 35 N.m (3.6 kgf-m, 25.8 ft-lb)
