Installation Subaru Impreza WRX GD/GG рестайлинг

Installation

1. Install transverse link ball joint to housing. CAUTION: Use new self-locking nut.
2. While aligning alignment mark on camber adjusting bolt head, connect housing and strut.
3. Install ABS sensor on housing (only vehicle equipped with ABS).
4. Install disc rotor on the hub.
5. Install disc brake caliper on the housing.
6. Install front axle shaft.
7. Connect stabilizer link. CAUTION: When connecting, DO NOT hit cap at the bottom of tie-rod end with hammer. NOTE: Tighten castle nut to specification. See «TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS»(/subaru/impreza-wrx/gdgg-2002-2005/remont/suspension-front/#front-suspension__torque-specifications), then tighten further within 60° until cotter pin hole is aligned with a slot in the nut.
8. Connect the tie-rod end ball joint and knuckle arm with a castle nut, and insert the cotter pin into the tie-rod end. (Scheme 11) CAUTION: Use a new axle nut. Always tighten axle nut before installing wheel on vehicle. If wheel is installed and comes in contact with ground when axle nut is loose, wheel bearings may be damaged. Be sure to tighten axle nut to specification. See «TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS»(/subaru/impreza-wrx/gdgg-2002-2005/remont/suspension-front/#front-suspension__torque-specifications). DO NOT overtighten it as this may damage wheel bearing.
9. While depressing brake pedal, tighten axle nut and lock it securely.
10. After tightening axle nut, lock it securely. (Scheme 16)
11. Install wheel and tighten wheel nuts to specification. See «TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS»(/subaru/impreza-wrx/gdgg-2002-2005/remont/suspension-front/#front-suspension__torque-specifications).

1. Lift-up the vehicle.
2. Remove the under cover.
3. Remove the bolt cover. (Scheme 17)
4. Remove the clip. (Scheme 18) NOTE: Loosen bolt (1) and leave a few threads caught, then remove the bolts in the order of (2), (3), (4), (5), and (6).
5. Remove the sub frame. (Scheme 19)
