Keyless Access with Push Button Start System (Diagnostics): Overview Subaru Forester SJ

OPERATION

Note. Initial diagnosis of electronic throttle control is performed after memory clearance. Wait for 10 seconds or more after turning the ignition switch to ON, and then start the engine.

  1. On «Main Menu» display, select {Each System Check}.
  2. On «System Selection Menu» display, select {Keyless access system}.
  3. On «Keyless access system» display, select {Work Support}.
  4. Select {Function Check Sequence}.
  5. Select {Keyless access system check}.
  6. Select the transmitter to be checked and click [OK].
  7. Select [Exit] to exit the system check. The screen will return to the «Keyless access system check» screen.

  1. On «Main Menu» display, select {Each System Check}.
  2. On «System Selection Menu» display, select {Keyless access system}.
  3. On «Keyless access system» display, select {Work Support}.
  4. Select {System Operation Check Mode}.
  5. Select the check point and click [OK].
  6. Select [Exit] to exit the drive item mode. The screen will return to the «Drive item» screen.

Note. Each output check continues to run for five seconds before stopping automatically.
