INSPECTION WITHOUT USING CAN DIAGNOSTIC

Before performing diagnosis, check the following items that might affect troubles of each module.

  1. Measure the battery voltage and check electrolyte. Standard voltage: 12 V or more Specific gravity: 1.260 or more
  2. Check the fuse condition. Make sure that ampere of the fuse is setting value, and it is not blown out.
  3. Check the connecting condition of harness and harness connector.

INSPECTION USING CAN DIAGNOSTIC

Before performing diagnostics, check the following item which might affect body integrated unit malfunctions.

  1. Confirm settings of body integrated unit are corresponded to vehicle equipment. < Ref. to «OPERATION»(ref-662108-S05424299862014101300000) , Registration Body Integrated Unit. >
  2. Make sure that the User Customizing of the body integrated unit matches the vehicle equipment. < Ref. to «OPERATION»(ref-662108-S05983590122014101300000) , User Customizing. >
  3. Confirm "Factory initial setting" of body integrated unit registrations is set to "Market".

DIAGNOSIS

Subaru Select Monitor communication line is open or shorted.

TROUBLE SYMPTOM

Not communicable with Subaru Select Monitor.

EXAMPLE OF DTC DATA NOT RECEIVED

Note. Only the sheet for bus off, data no-receive entry is shown.

(This is because, when data error occurs at the bus off, data no-receive condition, the diagnosis for these problems is performed first.)

DTC MATRIX

Note. Perform the following procedure when using this chart in which the detailed trouble mode corresponds to the trouble status.

  1. Search the trouble mode that corresponds to the vehicle status from the chart.
  2. Perform the repair that corresponds to the trouble mode.
