1. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the claw and remove the reclining adjuster release handle.
2. REMOVE VERTICAL ADJUSTER COVER (for Driver Side) Disengage the 3 claws and remove the vertical adjuster cover.
3. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER KNOB (for Driver Side) Remove the 2 screws and remove the reclining adjuster knob
4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH Remove the 3 screws. Disengage the 2 claws, and remove the front seat cushion shield.
5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (See «REMOVAL»(ref-289776-S08334507852008070700000) )
6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH Remove the screw. Disengage the claw and clip, and remove the front seat cushion shield.
7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION WITH COVER PAD Remove the 2 bands shown in the illustration. Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips. Disengage the 2 claws, 7 hooks and remove the front seat cushion cover pad.
8. REMOVE OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION SENSOR (See «REMOVAL»(ref-289738-S08088160412008070700000) )
9. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT ASSEMBLY Remove the 3 hog rings shown in the illustration. Remove the 2 hog rings shown in the illustration Disengage the 4 claws and remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.
10. REMOVE SEAT ARMREST HOLE COVER (for Driver Side) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the seat armrest hole cover.
11. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ARMREST ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side) Remove the bolt and 2 washers and remove the front seat armrest assembly.
12. REMOVE FRONT SEAT BACK WITH COVER PAD Remove the front seat back cover pad.
13. REMOVE FRONT SEAT SIDE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY Remove the airbag connector and the 4 wiring harness clamps. Using a clip remover, remove the 2 wiring harness clamps. Remove the 2 nuts and the front seat side airbag.
14. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH Remove the screw. Disengage the claw and remove the reclining adjuster inside cover.
15. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH HINT: Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
16. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER OUTSIDE COVER LH Remove the screw and the reclining adjuster outside cover.
17. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER OUTSIDE COVER RH HINT: Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
18. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION LOWER SHIELD LH Disengage the claw and remove the front seat cushion lower shield.
19. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION LOWER SHIELD RH HINT: Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
20. REMOVE SEAT SLIDE POSITION SENSOR PROTECTOR (See «REMOVAL»(ref-289738-S40993074532008070700000) )
21. REMOVE SEAT POSITION SENSOR (See «REMOVAL»(ref-289738-S40993074532008070700000) )
22. REMOVE OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION ECU (for Front Passenger Side) (See «REMOVAL»(ref-289738-S08088160412008070700000) )
23. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE (for Front Passenger Side) Disconnect the connector. Remove the 3 clamps and the front seat wire.

1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT WIRE (for Front Passenger Side) Install the 3 clamps and front seat wire.
2. INSTALL OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION ECU (for Front Passenger Side) (See «INSTALLATION»(ref-289738-S16713929382008070700000) )
3. INSTALL SEAT POSITION SENSOR (See «INSTALLATION»(ref-289738-S07321820602008070700000) )
4. INSTALL SEAT SLIDE POSITION SENSOR PROTECTOR (See «INSTALLATION»(ref-289738-S07321820602008070700000) )
5. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION LOWER SHIELD LH Engage the claw and install the front seat cushion lower shield.
6. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION LOWER SHIELD RH HINT: Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
7. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER OUTSIDE COVER LH Install the reclining adjuster outside cover with the screw.
8. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER OUTSIDE COVER RH HINT: Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
9. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH Engage the claw and install the reclining adjuster inside cover. Tighten the screw.
10. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH HINT: Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
11. INSTALL FRONT SEAT SIDE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY Install the front seat side airbag with the 2 nuts. Torque: 5.5 N*m (55 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf) Install the 2 wiring harness clamps. Install the 4 wiring harness clamps and the airbag connector.
12. INSTALL FRONT SEAT BACK WITH COVER PAD Install the front seat back cover pad. NOTE: The fabric for fixing the airbag must mot be wrinkled when installing the front seat back cover pad. Using hog ring pliers, install 2 new hog rings as shown in the illustration. Using hog ring pliers, install 3 new hog rings as shown in the illustration.
13. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ARMREST ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side) Install the front seat armrest assembly with the bolt. Torque: 20 N*m (200 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf)
14. INSTALL SEAT ARMREST HOLE COVER (for Driver Side) Engage the 2 claws and install the front seat armrest hole cover.
15. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT ASSEMBLY Align the protruding portions of the front seat headrest support with the installation grooves of the front seat back frame. Engage the 4 claws and install the 2 front seat headrest supports.
16. INSTALL OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION SENSOR (for Front Passenger Side) (See «INSTALLATION»(ref-289738-S16713929382008070700000) )
17. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION WITH COVER PAD Engage the 2 claws and 7 hooks, and install the front seat cushion cover pad. Fix the front seat side airbag wiring harness with the front seat cushion cover pad fixing Install the 2 clips. Install the 2 bands shown in the illustration.
18. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH Engage the claw and the clip and install the front seat cushion shield. Install the screw.
19. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (See «INSTALLATION»(ref-289776-S28303469452008070700000) )
20. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH Engage the 2 claws and the clip and install the front seat cushion shield. Install the 2 screws.
21. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER KNOB (for Driver Side) Install the reclining adjuster knob with the 2 screws.
22. INSTALL VERTICAL ADJUSTER COVER (for Driver Side) Engage the 3 claws and the install the vertical adjuster cover.
23. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE Engage the claw and install the reclining adjuster release handle.

1. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY Push the lock button of the rear seat headrest support and remove the rear seat headrest.
2. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK LOCK RELEASE BUTTON Remove the rear seatback lock release button.
3. REMOVE REAR SEAT BACK COVER LH Disengage the 4 claws and remove the rear seat back cover.
4. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT Using a clip remover, remove the 8 clips and open the rear seatback cover. Remove the 12 hog rings. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the rear seat headrest support. HINT: Use the same procedure for both sides.
5. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK STOP BUTTON GROMMET Disengage the 2 claws and remove the rear seatback stop button grommet.
6. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY Remove the rear seatback frame.
7. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK LOCK ASSEMBLY Remove the 2 bolts and the rear seatback lock.

1. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK ASSEMBLY Install the rear seatback lock with the 2 bolts. Torque: 30 N*m (306 kgf*cm, 22 ft.*lbf)
2. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY Install the rear seatback frame. Using hog ring pliers, install 12 new hog rings as shown in the illustration. Install the rear seatback cover with the 8 clips.
3. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK STOP BUTTON GROMMET Engage the 2 claws and install the rear seatback stop button grommet.
4. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT HINT: Use the same procedure for both sides. Align the protruding portion of the rear seat headrest support with the installation groove on the rear seatback frame. Engage the 2 claws and install the rear seat headrest support.
5. INSTALL REAR SEAT BACK COVER LH Engage the 4 claws and install the rear seat back cover.
6. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK RELEASE BUTTON Install the rear seatback lock release button.
7. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY Push the lock button of the rear seat headrest support and install the rear seat headrest.

1. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY Insert the 2 hooks into the rear seatback frame hole and install the rear seatback, tightening the 2 bolts in the sequence shown in the illustration. Torque: 42 N*m (428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf) Pull up the rear seatback. Install the rear center seat outer belt assembly with the bolt. Torque: 41 N*m (420 kgf*cm, 30 ft.*lbf)
2. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION WITH COVER PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY Pass the rear seat inner belt through the rear seat cushion cover pad slit. Engage the 3 hooks and install the rear seat cushion cover pad. NOTE: Make sure that the 2 rear seat cushion lock hooks and the rear seat cushion frame are securely engaged.

1. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION WITH COVER PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY (See «REMOVAL»(ref-289773-S03955050012008070700000) )
2. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY Push the rear seatback lock release button and tilt the rear seatback forward. Remove the 2 bolts, the 2 hooks and the rear seatback.

1. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY Push the lock button of the rear seat headrest support and remove the rear seat headrest.
2. REMOVE SEAT BELT ANCHOR COVER CAP Disengage the 2 claws and remove the seat belt anchor cover cap.
3. REMOVE REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT COVER Move the rear seat shoulder belt cover in the direction indicated by arrow A in the installation to disengage the 2 claws. Move the rear seat shoulder belt cover in the direction indicated by B in the illustration to disengage the 2 claws and remove the rear seat shoulder belt cover.
4. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK LOCK RELEASE BUTTON Remove the rear seatback lock release button.
5. REMOVE REAR SEAT BACK STOP BUTTON GROMMET Disengage the 2 claws and remove the rear seat back stop button grommet.
6. REMOVE REAR SEAT BACK COVER RH Disengage the 6 claws and remove the rear seat back cover RH. HINT: Use the same procedure to remove all the rear seat back cover RH.
7. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT Using a clip remover, remove the 10 clips and open the rear seatback cover. Remove the 14 hog rings. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the rear seat headrest support. HINT: Use the same procedure to remove all the rear seat headrest supports.
8. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY Remove the rear seatback frame.
9. REMOVE REAR CENTER SEAT BELT OUTER ASSEMBLY
10. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK LOCK ASSEMBLY Remove the 2 bolts and the rear seatback lock.

1. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK ASSEMBLY Install the rear seatback lock with the 2 bolts. Torque: 30 N*m (306 kgf*cm, 22 ft.*lbf)
2. INSTALL REAR CENTER SEAT BELT OUTER ASSEMBLY
3. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY Install the rear seatback frame. Using hog ring pliers, install 14 new hog rings as shown in the illustration. Install the rear seatback cover with the 10 clips.
4. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT Align the protruding portion of the rear seat headrest support with the installation groove on the rear seatback frame. Engage the 2 claws and install the rear seat headrest support. HINT: Use the same procedure to install all the rear seat headrest supports.
5. INSTALL REAR SEAT BACK COVER RH Engage the 4 claws and install the rear seat back cover RH. HINT: Use the same procedure to install all the rear seat back cover RH.
6. INSTALL REAR SEAT BACK STOP BUTTON GROMMET Engage the 2 claws and install the rear seat back stop button grommet.
7. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK RELEASE BUTTON Install the rear seatback lock release button.
8. INSTALL REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT COVER Move the rear seat shoulder belt cover in the direction indicated by arrow A in the illustration to engage the 2 claws. Move the rear seat shoulder belt cover in the direction indicated by arrow B in the illustration to engage the 2 claws and install the rear seat shoulder belt cover.
9. INSTALL SEAT BELT ANCHOR COVER CAP Engage the 2 claws and install the seat belt anchor cover cap.
10. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY Push the lock button of the rear seat headrest support and install the rear seat headrest.

Scheme 78

1. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY Insert the 2 hooks into the rear seatback frame hole and install the rear seatback, tightening the 2 bolts in the sequence shown in the illustration. Torque: 42 N*m (428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf) Pull up the rear seatback. Install the rear center seat outer belt into the rear center seat shoulder belt guide.
