Engine switch illumination*1 Map light assembly No. 1 room light assembly *1: w/ Smart Key System *2: w/o Smart Key System
  2. BATTERY SAVING CONTROL SYSTEM The battery saving control system has the following control functions: Control Outline Lighting Interior light auto cut function The illumination of the items listed to the right will turn off 20 minutes after the ignition switch is turned off, regardless of the map light switch position and whether the doors are open or closed. Map light assembly No. 1 room light assembly No. 2 room light assembly Engine switch illumination* *: w/ Smart Key System

OPERATION CHECK [05/2013 - ]

  1. INSPECT ILLUMINATED ENTRY SYSTEM OPERATION NOTE: Perform this inspection with the customizable parameters set to the initial settings. HINT: When inspecting the following functions, make sure that the map light and No. 1 room light switches are in the DOOR position. The illuminated entry system illuminates the items below. Engine switch illumination* Map light assembly No. 1 room light assembly *: w/ Smart Key System The operation and operating conditions of this system are described below. Operation Condition Lights fade in and illuminate constantly Any door is opened when all the doors are closed. Lights illuminate for 15 seconds, and then fade out When any of the following conditions is met: The key is brought within any vehicle exterior detection area when the ignition switch is off and all the doors are closed.* Any door is unlocked when the ignition switch is off and all the doors are closed and locked. The ignition switch is turned from ACC to off when all doors are closed. All the doors are closed when one or more doors are open and the ignition switch is off. Lights fade out immediately When either of the following conditions is met: The ignition switch is turned from off to ACC when all the doors are closed. All the doors are locked when the ignition switch is off, all the doors are closed and any door is unlocked. *: w/ Smart Key System
  2. CHECK BATTERY SAVING CONTROL SYSTEM OPERATION The battery saving control (interior light auto cut function) illuminates the lights and parts below. Map light assembly No. 1 room light assembly No. 2 room light assembly The operation and operating condition of this control are described below. Operation Condition Battery saving (interior light auto cut function) 20 minutes has elapsed since the ignition switch was turned off, regardless of the map light switch position and whether the doors are open or closed.
