ENGINE OIL REPLACEMENT REMINDER LIGHT RESET INDEX

ENGINE OIL REPLACEMENT REMINDER LIGHT RESET - PROCEDURE 1

To reset MAINT reminder indicator after engine oil change

  1. Turn ignition switch to OFF with the odometer display showing.
  2. While pressing the trip meter RESET button, turn ignition switch to ON.
  3. Hold trip meter RESET button down for at least 5 seconds. The MAINT reminder light goes off, and the odometer display shows zero for 1 second and then changes back to the odometer reading.
  4. If system fails to reset, reminder light will remain on keep flashing.

To reset MAINT reminder indicator after engine oil change

  1. Turn ignition switch to OFF with ODOMETER display showing.
  2. While pressing the trip meter RESET button, turn ignition switch to ON.
  3. Hold trip meter RESET button down for at least 5 seconds. Odometer should indicate "000000", and MAINT reminder light goes out.
  4. If system fails to reset, reminder light will remain flashing.

To reset MAINT reminder indicator after engine oil change

  1. Switch the odometer display to TRIP A while the engine is running.
  2. Set the "ENGINE START STOP" switch or turn ignition switch to OFF with odometer showing TRIP A.
  3. While pressing the trip meter RESET button, set the "ENGINE START STOP" switch or turn ignition switch to ON.
  4. Hold trip meter RESET button down for at least 5 seconds. TRIP A display should indicate "000000", and MAINT reminder light goes out.
  5. If system fails to reset, reminder light will remain flashing.

To reset MAINT reminder indicator after engine oil change

  1. Switch the odometer display to TRIP A while the engine is running.
  2. Turn ignition switch to OFF with odometer showing TRIP A.
  3. While pressing the MODE button, turn ignition switch to ON (DO NOT start engine).
  4. Hold MODE button down for at least 5 seconds. TRIP A display should indicate "000000".

To reset MAINT reminder indicator after engine oil change

  1. Switch the display to the odometer.
  2. Turn ignition switch to OFF (LOCK).
  3. While pressing the MODE button, turn ignition switch to ON (DO NOT start engine).
  4. Hold MODE button down for at least 5 seconds. Display should indicate "000000".
