Removal Procedure

IMPORTANT

Always perform adjustment at both tie rods. The two tie rods may display a maximum difference in length of 5 mm (0.20 in) after adjustment.

Put the steering in straight ahead position.
Loosen the lock nut (1) at left and right tie rods. Counterhold at tie rod using open-ended wrench.
Adjust the wheel toe by rotating the tie rod (2).

Installation Procedure

Tighten the lock nuts on both tie rods. Counterhold at the tie rod using open-ended wrench. Tighten: Tighten the lock nuts to 60 N.m (44 lb ft).
Inspect the wheel toe adjustment.
