Brief description
The sunroof consists of sunroof unit with a glass hatch fixed to two lifting units. The hatch is driven with wires from an electric motor.
There is a switch on the front roof console to operate the sunroof.
Besides sliding backwards-forwards, the rear of the glass hatch can also raised (tilted).
The sunroof can be operated when the ignition is in position ON (+15) and its electric motor is continuously supplied with +30 via fuse 23.
The electric motor is grounded through pin 6 to grounding point G33.
When the switch is pressed, the respective pins on the electric motor are grounded and the motor starts to operate.
Scheme 2
The sunroof consists of sunroof unit with a glass hatch fixed to two lifting units. The hatch is driven with wires from an electric motor located in the front of the unit.
There is a switch on the front roof console to operate the sunroof.
The glass hatch can be slid backwards-forwards and also lifted at the back (tilted).
The glass hatch is operated by a three-way switch. When it is closed and the switch is activated for opening backwards for longer than 0.4 seconds, the hatch will automatically open 83% (comfort position). To stop the hatch while it is opening automatically, the switch can be pressed upwards or briefly to the close position. When the switch is again pressed for opening after stopping the hatch in this way, the hatch will automatically continue to the comfort position. To completely open the hatch, the switch must be kept pressed until the hatch reaches its rear stop position.
Only backwards opening can be performed automatically. The switch must be pressed continuously to close the hatch.
The sunroof unit is drained via four hoses, one in each corner of the unit
