Control functions
The audio system is controlled using buttons on both the steering wheel and the control panel.
Control panel buttons.

- Switching the Audio system on and off. Adjusting the volume.
- Information about the artist, album and song title. Display of the radio text.
- The tone control is used for adjustment of the tone and loudspeaker settings. Change of track/file on a CD or MP3 disc and manual frequency setting.
- Settings menu.
- Scroll between preset pages.
- The menu alternatives shown on the display are selected with the appropriate menu selection button directly underneath.
- Traffic messages on/off
- Activation and selection of programme type.
- cars with CD changer: Loading of CD or MP3 discs. Cars without CD changer: Setting the time and date.
- Loading a CD or MP3 disc.
- Activating the radio and changing the frequency band.
- Automatic frequency searching downwards and change of track/file backwards on a CD or MP3 disc.
- Automatic frequency searching upwards and change of track/file forwards on a CD or MP3 disc.
- Automatic frequency searching and rapid play backwards of a track/file on a CD or MP3 disc.
- Automatic frequency searching and rapid play forwards of a track/file on a CD or MP3 disc.
- Activation of CD media or a portable player.

- "Arrow up"/"Arrow down": Change of preset for radio stations, change of track on the CD or MP3 disc.
- "NXT": Automatic frequency searching upwards, choice of next track on a CD or MP3 disc. Activation of test listening of radio stations
- SRC: Push to change between Radio, CD, MP3, CD changer or portable player.
- VOL: Adjusts the volume. IMPORTANT: In the service manual the normal handling of the audio system is not dealt with. Detailed information regarding handling can be found in the owner's manual.
