Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Pressure Sensor Calibration
The brake pressure sensor does not require calibration often. Calibration of the brake pressure sensor might be required after certain service procedures are performed. Some of these procedures are as follows
- Electronic brake control module (EBCM) replacement
- Brake pressure modulator valve assembly replacement
The Brake Pressure Sensor Calibration procedure can be completed with a scan tool using the following steps
- Apply the parking brake, or set the transmission in the P position.
- Release the brake pedal.
- Install the scan tool to the data link connector.
- Ignition ON, engine OFF
- Select Brake Pressure Sensor Calibration in the EBCM Configuration/Reset Functions list.
- Follow the scan tool directions to complete the calibration procedure.
- Clear any DTCs that may be set.

- Place the ignition switch in the OFF position.
- Without draining the coolant or removing the hoses, remove and position aside the radiator surge tank. Refer to «RADIATOR SURGE TANK REPLACEMENT (LAU)»(ref-652237-S36636507542014082300000) or «RADIATOR SURGE TANK REPLACEMENT (LF1)»(ref-652237-S15382674952014082300000) .
- Remove the brake pressure modulator valve (BPMV) assembly. Refer to «BRAKE PRESSURE MODULATOR VALVE REPLACEMENT»(ref-652262-S20011013052014082300000) .
- Remove the BPMV bracket bolts (1).
- Remove the BPMV bracket (1).
- Inspect the bracket insulators for damage and replace, if necessary.

- Install the BPMV bracket (1).
- Refer to «CAUTION: RETAINER»(ref-652229-S20487768742014082300000) Install the BPMV bracket bolts (1) and tighten to 12 Nm (106 lb in).
- Fit the BPMV unit. Refer to «BRAKE PRESSURE MODULATOR VALVE REPLACEMENT»(ref-652262-S20011013052014082300000) .
- Install the radiator surge tank. Refer to «RADIATOR SURGE TANK REPLACEMENT (LAU)»(ref-652237-S36636507542014082300000) or «RADIATOR SURGE TANK REPLACEMENT (LF1)»(ref-652237-S15382674952014082300000) .
