1. Fold down the rear seat back rests.
2. Remove the clips securing the parcel shelf trim.
3. Pull the parcel shelf trim straight out forwards.

1. Slide in the parcel shelf trim, ensure that the locating lugs fully engage in their mountings on the parcel shelf panel.
2. Fit the parcel shelf trim clips.
3. Raise the backrest. Check that the back rests are locked.

1. Open the soft top and let the soft top cover remain open.
2. Remove the «head restraints»(ref-275882-S40546120862007122900000) .
3. Remove the back rest cushion upper retaining bolts and fold the back rest cushion forward.
4. Remove the cover.

1. Set the cover in place.
2. Fit the bolts and adjust the cover so that it rests in line with the interior equipment.
3. Fit the back rest screws.
4. Fit the «head restraints»(ref-275882-S40546120862007122900000) .
5. Close the soft top.

1. Remove the inner door handle cover. Use «82 93 474 REMOVAL TOOL»(ref-275837-S36358282642007122900000) . under the handle and lift upwards.
2. Remove the screws from the handle.
3. Undo the door trim clips by inserting «82 93 474 REMOVAL TOOL»(ref-275837-S36358282642007122900000) between the trim and door panel and gently prising out the trim. Move the tool along the trim as the clips come undone.
4. Lift up the door trim so it comes loose from the top edge.
5. Remove the door handle cable. IMPORTANT: Take care when releasing the locking mechanism on the connector so as not to damage the connector. Pull the halves straight apart to avoid bending the pins. For further information regarding connectors, refer to «Connectors, handling and inspection»(ref-275842-S26624887112007122900000) .
6. Remove the connector from the door panel and the window lift.
7. Unplug the connector from the wiring harness to the door trim.
