Power Windows - Service Information: Removal & Installation RAM Cab & Chassis 3500 HD

INSTALLATION

1. Connect electrical connector.
2. Place motor/regulator into place and install fasteners.
3. Install door trim panel. Refer to «PANEL, DOOR TRIM, INSTALLATION»(ref-476497-S07927097912012060400000) .
4. Connect the negative battery cable.

1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Remove the rear seats. Refer to «SEAT, REAR, REMOVAL»(ref-476497-S21765194242012060400000) or «SEAT, MEGA CAB REAR, REMOVAL»(ref-476497-S24939266352012060400000) .
3. Remove the rear cab back panel. Refer to «PANEL, CAB BACK TRIM, REMOVAL»(ref-476497-S21500237442012060400000) .
4. Remove the 2 mounting bolts (1).
5. Disconnect the electrical connector to the power motor.
6. Rotate the assembly and remove the 3 screws (1) that attach the motor to the regulator.

1. Install the power motor to the regulator with the 3 screws (1).
2. Connect the electrical connector to the power motor.
3. Install the 2 mounting bolts (1).
4. Install the rear cab back panel. Refer to «PANEL, CAB BACK TRIM, INSTALLATION»(ref-476497-S05420553992012060400000) .
5. Install the rear seats. Refer to «SEAT, REAR, INSTALLATION»(ref-476497-S41865777992012060400000) or «SEAT, MEGA CAB REAR, INSTALLATION»(ref-476497-S32263137592012060400000) .
6. Connect the battery negative cable.

REMOVAL

The power window switch is included with the power mirror/lock switch. Refer to SWITCH, LOCK, WITH WINDOW SWITCHES, REMOVAL .
