General information on the fault memory
The fault memory of the control module can save up to (80) different faults simultaneously. If the fault memory is full, the new fault overwrites the oldest fault. The fault memory content of the 'Tiptronic control module' is maintained even in removed state.

The text shown in brackets is not displayed when reading out faults using the 9588 Porsche System Tester II. These fault codes are standardized worldwide in the OBD II/EOBD and are read out using Scan Tool (the standard read-out tester throughout the world). In the 9588 Porsche System Tester II, this function is supported under 'Special functions', menu item 'CARB (ISO)'.
